People affected by disability are isolated in various ways. This is a universal experience. Cultural attitudes and worldviews keep people with disabilities at arm-length in many communities around the world. Are there ways to harness technology to overcome some of these more negative attitudes? How can social media help? This workshop will examine the ways in which personal technologies can be used to keep people with disabilities connected to the global community.
